Awards Overview

The Awards Ceremony will take place at 6:00P.M. in the EMPAC Building, Fifth Floor on the RPI Campus. A Regeneron sponsored reception (4:30-5:15) in the lobby outside will precede the Awards ceremony, including a book lottery and trivia games .

Top projects in the Junior and Senior Division may be eligible to compete (with all expenses paid) in the 2020 STANYS State Science Congress (Saturday, June 13, MOST Museum, Syracuse, NY)), or at the 70th International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Anaheim, CA, May 10-15, 2020. Top projects in the Junior Division may be eligible to enter the STANYS State Science Congress and the National Broadcom Masters Competition.

A large number of prizes and awards will be presented to winners in both divisions, including many cash awards, as well as a Rensselaer Scholarship and an $50,000 Scholarship.

Anyone who wins a prize is required to fill out a Social Security form within 10 days of the science fair. Download the form.

The purpose of these awards is to give recognition to specific areas of science research. They include the regional and ISEF awards.

Regional Awards

These awards were developed by our Regional Fair and are not offered at the International finals.

ISEF Awards

These awards are also offered at the International finals.
